I bought an X-Box 360 about a week ago. I also got three games for it: Dead Rising, Tomb Raider Legend and Need For Speed: Carbon. The machine's been great, although additional games do cost alot.

The summer's still proceeding well here. It doesn't really feel like autumn at the moment, although if I had been asked the same question about a month ago, I would've probably stated otherwise. It rained about half of time time here for a few months, but towards the end of the summer, the weather has considerably cleared - and we've even had a long period of warm weather and clear skies.

I have to go back to the university in about a week. Don't really feel like it, to tell you the truth. And just so happens, I can only study there for three months until the army drafts me for at least six months. Although, it's not like I'd be able to study much there anyway this year, since my motivation for all that bullshit over there combined with this anxiousness over my military service aren't a good mixture to begin with. I guess I'll just try to do what I can over at the university, but I'm not motivated enough to try and really outperform myself.

I'm also trying to get a job of some sort from this place. The choices aren't too breath-taking, but at this moment I'll try anything short of working in a food store. I just really need the money, since just the sheer cost of living in this country is too much for a low-life student like me. And I'm pretty tired of being constantly out of money, too.

I've also drawn plans for moving out of Kauhava. This place is nice enough, but the neighbouring city of Seinäjoki just offers alot more - and the cost of living there might be slightly cheaper than here. I've decided, if possible, to move out of Kauhava next spring - right after being discharged from the army. Hopefully this plan will work, since I'd really love to move out of Kauhava as soon as possible. We shall see how this plan plays itself out, however.
